Stonechat Cottage Portmagee

Amazing place! Positive: The children enjoyed the house soooo much. They loved the downstairs room and played with a sort of mistery-box found in the living room. Decoration was charming, so that the feeling was like being at home. We had nice weather during our stay, so we had lunch outside in the garden. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were some leftovers from previous guests, like oil, salt, kitchen roll, etc. I run the washing machine, the host left some liquid tablets for me. Beds were comfortable, and the entire space was super clean. We walked down to the beach and then along it, it was really nice.

No hot water next to an unkept house Positive: Location was good for what we were doing. Negative: No hot water. Neighboring house quite unkept.

Positive: Plenty of space and good value for money. Negative: The cottage is located fair distance from a town and the neighbouring property is a little neglected creating a weird vibe.
