Glenmore Cottage - Waterville

Positive: The location and drive to the stay was stunning. Negative: Unfortunately, our stay didn't live up to expectations. The house is old and quite cramped inside, with limited usable space. The area around the fireplace was dirty, covered in coal dust. The lawn out front was overgrown and unkempt — nothing like the listing photos, which turned out to be misleading. The profile picture was actually of a different property entirely; it was only changed after we raised a complaint. The most serious issue, though, was a sharp stone jutting out of the pathway that punctured one of our tyres. Combined with the peeling, unpainted exterior, the house has a rather unpleasant, run-down feel to it.

A beautiful cosy cottage in the mountains Positive: The cottage has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay on the country side. There’s a beautiful scenic drive down a country road into the cottage. Very comfortable and also not too far from Waterville if you want to head into town for some food, to visit the beach or have a few drinks.
